Mr. Weilin Zhang is a Senior Partner and in charge of China Sinda's Singapore Office, responsible for the firm's intellectual property services and management in Singapore and in the South East Asia region.  Mr. Zhang is amongst the pioneer batches of qualified patent attorneys in China and in Singapore. A mechanical engineer by training and with over 20 years' experience practicing patents in top tier intellectual property firms in China and Singapore, Mr. Zhang also worked as an in-house Patent Counsel of a leading multinational corporation in the electronics industry, supervising and coordinating patenting activities and patent enforcement actions in Asia.  

In addition to managing the practice and the team in the Singapore office for providing a full-range of patent services including patenting strategy counselling, patent drafting in both English and Chinese languages, patent filing and prosecution, patent analysis and portfolio management, Mr Zhang also works closely with and head a team of patent attorneys of the Beijing office in handling the firm's newly-developed practices including patent landscape analysis, freedom-to-operate searches / opinion and patent due diligence for the firm's existing and new clients.  Mr. Zhang is at the Registry of Certified Intellectual Property Consultants under the Institution of Engineers, Singapore, and serves as a member of the Examination Committee under the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore for setting and marking the papers for Singapore patent agent qualification examination.
