Professional Experience
Mr. Zheng practices in all areas of intellectual property law focusing on patent prosecution,
litigation and counseling on IP protection.

Mr. Zheng started his career as a patent attorney in 1989 and joined China Sinda in 1995. Later,
he studied in the United States and obtained his master’s degree in Intellectual Property. He
passed the US patent bar exam and practiced in a U.S. law firm for six years. Mr. Zheng has rich
experience in handling patent applications both at home and abroad in the fields of mechanisms
and electronics. The patent applications he has dealt with cover wide areas of general
mechanisms, machinery, medical devices, automobiles, engines, oil rigs, process engineering,
electrical appliances and devices, telecommunications, semiconductors, Internet applications and
business model, etc. In addition, Mr. Zheng also counsels and provides opinions to clients
regarding patent validity, infringement and enforcement, and advises clients on the strategy,
management and leverage of their patent portfolios on a global basis.
