Necessary Documents for conventional Copyright
Registration
1. Works Registration Form;
2. Guaranty of Rights;
3. Executed Application Form;
4. Description of Works;
5. For individual duplicate of personal ID Card
(notarization is required for residents of Hong Kong,
Macao and Taiwan; notarization or authentication is
required for foreigners);
6. For entity duplicate of Certificate of Incorporation
(notarization is required for Hong Kong, Macao and
Taiwan companies; notarization or authentication is
required for foreign companies);
7. Duplicate of works; and
8. Duplicate of trademark is required for registering
trademark design.
Necessary Documents for Copyright Registration for
computer software
1. 2 copies of Application Form;
2. 2 copies of Description of Computer Software;
3. Certified document for the status of applicant (for
natural person);
4. 2 copies of certified documents for legal entity:
For enterprise: duplicate of Certificate of
Incorporation or Business License;
For institution: duplicate copy of Certificate of
Routine Number;
For non-governmental organization: copy of Writ of
Approval issued by the local authorities for civil
affairs or competent authorities concerned.
5. Subject program (2 copies, in A4 paper; 20 pages
sampled respectively from the beginning, the middle and
the end of the program, no more than 60 pages in all);
6. Document file (2 copies, no more than 60 pages);
Where it is necessary, following applicant documents may
be required:
7. Application for exception deposit of software
identification materials;
8. Statement on original-created software for which the
registration is sought;
9. Certified documents, such as:
2 copies of the contract or agreement of cooperation
development;
2 copies of entrusted development agreement; and
2 copies of job order.
